Hs customary style is to get bowled by practically unplayable deliveries?What-A-Player said:Laxman gets out on his customary style
He just scored his third hundred in his last four Tests (this one in really tough circumstances) and he scored two ODI hundreds in his last 4 innings. Sorry but he *is* that much better than Pathan.he definitely is, except he's not far better than pathan.
I know it's going to sound a little odd, but yes.Tony Blade said:Hs customary style is to get bowled by practically unplayable deliveries?
it was a great delivery no doubt but i think he played it with uncertainity had he been a bit more certain.. i mean had he played that shot with a little more positive foot work things would have been different but a great delivery no doubt.. he left a big gap between his bat and pad and that did all the damage...Prince EWS said:I know it's going to sound a little odd, but yes.
He seems to get bowled by absolute jaffers on a regular basis. Not entirely his fault of course, but its something I've noticed.
you were wrong.Fusion said:So here are Razzak and Akmal at the crease with Pakistan in dire position, just like last year in India. I fear that they will not be able to repeat their feats from that game.
That is better than getting out to nothing balls which a few other batters from our part of the world regularly do.Tony Blade said:Hs customary style is to get bowled by practically unplayable deliveries?
4 Test centuries suggests otherwise.adharcric said:he definitely is, except he's not far better than pathan.
Of course he is better than Pathan, but not by far, which was what the original poster said and I guess that is what adharcric was trying to point out.Top_Cat said:He just scored his third hundred in his last four Tests (this one in really tough circumstances) and he scored two ODI hundreds in his last 4 innings. Good to see he's going to plan and proving my prediction a couple of months ago that he'll be in the top 10 batsmen soon.
Even then, Razzaq (who would become #8 if Akmal moved to #6) is most certainly a better batsman than Pathan anyway.honestbharani said:Of course he is better than Pathan, but not by far, which was what the original poster said and I guess that is what adharcric was trying to point out.
Anyways, I don't think he would be batting at 8 for too much longer. I think he will move to 6 when Pak go to England. So, this argument is basically unnecessary.
of course. But I think you guys are judging Pathan too early. Razzaq has been around for a long time. Pathan has only been around for a couple of years. Who knows how good a batter he will turn out to be. And honestly, on CURRENT form, I would still take Pathan over Razzaq.Prince EWS said:Even then, Razzaq (who would become #8 if Akmal moved to #6) is most certainly a better batsman than Pathan anyway.
I think both sides had their moments of daft batting.honestbharani said:of course. But I think you guys are judging Pathan too early. Razzaq has been around for a long time.
