Like SJS said, the pitch isn't doing anything you don't see day in day out in England during June.

yes now that i think of it, pakistan will be well served to play 6 specialist batsmen. the pakistani tail (8-11) is clearly weaker than the indian tail (pathan, kumble, khan, rp singh)
Erm, don't forget that Akmal is at 8...

With all due respects to the Indian tailenders, he's far better than any of them.

Well played to Kamran Akmal for scoring 113 runs when most needed by his team. He played without caring about the match situation and played controlled strokes without going for lofted shots and found the gaps hitting 4s with ease. Also, put on 2 useful partnerships with Razzaq and Akhtar to take Pakistan to 245. Also, Irfan Pathan, just like the cleaned up the top order, dismissed Asif and Akhtar at the end to take a 5-wicket haul, his 1st against a team other than Zimbabwe"B" and Bangladesh.

As is Shoaib, on this form. Well, maybe not Pathan, but Shoaib would be a dead cert for number 9 if he was Indian.

Dravid goes out caught behind for 3 as India are 9/1:@

3.2 Mohammad Asif to Dravid, OUT: fullish, on the off, coming in with
the arm and straightening off the pitch, the ball takes the
outside edge as Dravid id squared up and goes straight to Kamran
Akmal! That is a HUGE wicket for Pakistan!

Haha, as Pakistan were about 40/6, I was typing and said "Don`t worry, Akmal will save the day." And then my internet dropped out.

It`s just not the same! :D

he definitely is, except he's not far better than pathan. anyways, i was thinking of a pak lineup with 3 specialist pacemen & kaneria as tailenders.
