What Inzamam feared has manifested itself. Pakistan team falling to pieces as soon as the wicket offers a sembelence of assistance to the pacers.

Shades of Calcutta 99, anyone?

Too bad we no longer have a Saeed Anwar to accompany the Moin Khan.

It's terrible batting, IMO. The ball is swinging, there's no need to play extraordinary drives. They could have rather let the first session go by, even if that meant scoring hardly any runs.

Gotta love the way Indian supporters bag him out, and then he gets a hat-trick.

Well done son.

So here are Razzak and Akmal at the crease with Pakistan in dire position, just like last year in India. I fear that they will not be able to repeat their feats from that game.

Its more like a hangover from the all the batting they have been doing.
Mentally, by and large, they seem to believe they are batting on the featerbeds of the last two tests.

Man - why did Pak keep Hasan and Gul out of this one?

What a, what a, what a AMAZING performance by this underrated Indian pace-bowling attack. We have had many people rubbishing the Indian pace-bowling, saying that they are nowhere as good as Pakistan. Not only that a recent post on this thread said -

Pathan, he's alright, but slightly overrated.
Now, if Pathan is overrated, then what is this Pakistan bowling. Take it, India has the most underrated pace-bowling attack in the world. Pathan has been a genuine pace bowler and the find of the last 3 years for India and Zaheer is on the peak of his form. RP Singh, is trying to prove a point or two, he is a bowler with a slightly extra-pace and can swing the ball as well.

But, then also look at this amazing performance. They just get a pitch which has something in it for fast bowling and they reduce Pakistan to 39/6.

The way Pakistan are going, we are going to see a repeat of Sharjah 2002, remember? That 59, 53 might just be repeated if the Indian bowlers continue to bowl the way they are doing. I do feel for Pakistan though.

Naved, you mean? I like his bowling.

Yeah, so do I.

I liked his bowling when Pak toured Australia 2004/2005 and - especially - in the VB series he bowled with a lot of movement, albeit expensively.
More importantly he bowled with heart when Akhtar often went missing.

If the pitch has something for the bowlers its a little strange that Asif and/or Razzaq got the nod ahead of him.

Pakistan, still maintaining a run-rate of over 4 and keeping the attack. Good to see some positive approach being adopted by Pakistan in this face of adversity. They want to blast themselves out of this situation than score at around 2 runs an over.
