I get your point, but I don't think the pitch has that much to do with it. I think Yunis/Sehwag just somehow excell when playing against these two respective teams.SpaceMonkey said:Not playing on roads might be a good start
??? I'm not following the game on TV so I don't get it?Nnanden said:Kaneria poopies!

Younis Khan and Virendar Sehwag do have extraordinary records against India and Pakistan respectively. However when 4 batsman score hundreds in the one innings, and over 400 hundred runs were scored in 1shortened day (day 2) the quality of the pitch must be questioned. . .Fusion said:I get your point, but I don't think the pitch has that much to do with it. My personal favourite for that would be a Newzealand India test from 95-96 followed closely by a match in New Zealand during India's subsequent tour in the annoying category.. Both fairly affected by rain if I remember correctly.James90 said:This must be the most annoying test ever.
Danish bowls it, Sehwag hits it straight back to Kaneria. In frustration, he throws it at the stumps, misses (as does Akmal) and the ball races to the boundary.Fusion said:??? I'm not following the game on TV so I don't get it?
Today, Imran confirmed the opinion of Mudassar by saying exactly the same thing on the Ten Sports programme.Mecnun said:I think Mudasser has hit the nail on the head. I guess Pak wanted to blunt out the Indian seamers and rely on Shoaib/Rana heroics on a lifeless pitch, but bowlers cannot perform heroics every match. I also think this pitch is not going to turn or crumble.
Well their so called "mighty attack" have so far not able to take a single wkt in 2 days.SJS said:Difficult to say beta. Pakistan has the better (deeper and more balanced) bowling so inspite of India's strong batting line up, I am afraid they may have a slightly better chance of taking the 20 wickets necessary to win a test.
Something i said long back, Pak feels threatened by Pathan and just don't like to face him on responsive tracks.Mecnun said:I think Mudasser has hit the nail on the head. I hope he gets another triplenehrafan said:hopefully Sehwag will get a double ton in this test match
I guess Pak beat Englang by sheer luck right? And last year in India, Pak had a draw in the Test series and then beat Ind in ODI's comprehensively because Indian players had thrown the matches. Because obviously, their "cowardly" tactics prevent them from ever improving their skills.nehrafan said:Something i said long back, Pak feels threatened by Pathan and just don't like to face him on responsive tracks.
Unless Pak change their cowardly approack towards the game, their cricketing skill will never improve.
Absolutely.Fusion said:What a contrast Dravid's innings is from Sehwag/Afridi/Akmal's. Call me crazy, but I am equally amazed by his innings as I am of the other three. He's allways been one of my favorite batsman.
