Why the hell did India super-sub Zaheer on for AA to bowl his last 4 overs?

Zaheer has gone for 24 runs off his first 2. Christ.

Insane Now Sreesanth has 2 more overs to bowl as well

Agree with your post and Pakistan was thrashed yesterday. Full kudos to Indian team. It was spineless effort by Pakistan but I guess it was one of those days when everything went wrong.

Anyway India bowled well for most of the innings and then just let it go. Zaheer was an absolute disgrace and the early catching was disgraceful. 3 dropped catches, one which proved very costly. Hell India are lucky that Akmal and Afridi didn't go on to score as well.

That being said, top knocks from Malik and Razzaq. Seriously Pakistan's batting depth is amazing. Hopefully India can chase this target down and take a lead in this series. Should be great.

The way I see it, the game's there for India to lose. 289 under present conditions should just about be an honest day's job worth for the Indian batsmen.


Still, brilliant knock by Malik. Even though Razzaq was far from his flashing best, he still managed to put up a respectable score, enabling Pakistan to have a real crack at a win.

India's best bowler was Sachin Tendulkar. (mind you, I didn't watch the first 20 odd overs)

You mean to say that India don't have the upper hand????? , i think the match is heavily in favour of India, Pak bowlers will struggle to grip the ball under light, and India has an awesome batting lineup.

Secondly, maybe if you weren't such a ****y and arrogant blind Indian fan, and just took the wins with and losses with grace instead of trying to wage war against all Pakistani supporters on this forum some people would actually respect your opinions and your posts.

Quite the opposite. In case I was too cryptic earlier, India can lose the match from here (via poor batting) but I doubt Pakistan can win it (through brilliant bowling).

Yeah I just realised what you meant now. Under the conditions they should chase it successfully, but I have a bad feeling for some reason. I guess I'd feel more comfortable if our super-sub was a batsman or Powar just for that extra depth, even if I did defend India's decision to have a bowler as super-sub earlier.

I don't think Pakistan have the bowling lineup to restict Indian batsmen from scoring under 300 runs on such surfaces.Asif is a decent bowlers, while Umar is rubbish, while Naveed,Razzak and others are all expensive.Yasir Arafat is an allrounder, don't think he will be able to do much on this surface.

Pakistan is badly missing Akhtar here, also i believe Rao Ifti would have been a better choice (he did well in ODI played in India) than the lieks of Gul.

I think India will easily win this one, Pakistan just did't played good cricket to really challenge India in the first 50 overs, and hence will end up losing.

Hopefully Sachin and Dravid dig deep and play well. Sachin's most definitely in form and Dravid is made for these situations. With Yuvraj, Kaif and Dhoni still to come India are far from gone. But boy, they've made it hard for themselves =-/

I had a bad feeling about Gambhir today, well with this whole chase really. I just don't think Pakistan should have got anywhere near 288. India should have restricted them to 250 max considering the position they had them in.
