Haha, people are always so quick to jump all over Lewis because he looks like such a dire bowler. He's copped some tap today, but so have the best of them, and Lewis's ODI career has been brilliant thus far. I'm as sure as all of you that he's overachieved and that it'll even out if he plays more, but he's so under-rated it's not funny.
I don't think he's dire, I just don't think he's as good as a lot of our other (albeit injured) options.

With England's merry-go-round wicket keeping selection policy, I think that the only logical option is to drop Prior and pick another specialist batsman.

The 7 batsmen shall draw straws prior to the fielding innings and whoever pulls the short straw will keep.

All this Lewis bagging and Broad has gone for even more runs - yet not a word said against England's new golden boy.

How many games do you think it should take an established List A bowler to have his average on the better side of 30?

Both Mahmood and Plunkett have played 20 odd games and have averages on the wrong side of 30 and they to some extent have been banished from internationals, I doubt Broad will get the same treatment, but questions do need to be asked, if you know what I mean.

A fair point, but maybe we're comparing Lewis' performance with the new ball to how Broad did with it in previous games. Today, SRT & Ganguly were up & away by the time Broad came on to bowl.

Still, Lewis has got rid of Tendulkar now and there's a rumour that Prior managed to hold on to the catch.

Don't u guys think that Sachin Tendulkar has made it a habit of getting out in 70s/80s/90s?
Piss off. If you'd been watching any of these games then you'd realise quite a few times it hasn't been his fault.

Ugh, Gambhir comes in.
