***Official*** India in England

Well, after Bell, it's the tail. Even losing 2 wickets could be dangerous. There is no Gilchrist at seven to keep the innings in check. Hell, there is no Warne either.
Well Prior is meant to be in the team over Read because he's at least competant.

Come on guys. There is no way England can win. If they accelerate too much, India would take like 9 minutes to bowl an over.
I agree, it just annoys me when a team prefers to be off the ground than on it. And when they settle for a draw too easily - especially when they need a win to square the series. Although I think the moment for them to do something has passed now, probably long ago if truth be told. I'd still like to see Pietersen try and get a large undefeated ton though.

I don't understand the English cricketing mindset at times. They're no real chance of losing the match, and its easy enough to stick the breaks on if you do lose a wicket, so why wouldn't you stay out there. If for no other reason, give KP the chance to get another century to his name.

Agree with SS here. I really wouldn't fancy anyone from Prior down to stay around for too long. The comm team on Sky have already mentioned the game we lost to Pakistan in 2001 after having been only 2 down at tea on day 5. If an English team can find a way to lose a match, we'll almost invariably find it.

Pleased to see us show some fight over the last couple of days, but I'll offer early congrats to India who've been the better team over the series as a whole. Special praise to Khan & Ganguly, grabbed their chances with both hands.

I'm really disappointed that England haven't decided to go for this target. I expect more attacking tactics from Vaughan TBH. Not good cricket.

Why do England care if they lose though? Who cares if you lose going for the runs? You'd have lost the series anyway if you let it peter out into a draw. Could take a page of out Graeme Smith's book for mine.

ya,its impossible for England to win from now.We should gone for the target since the half of the last session, targetting the win now won't get us anything.May be,India can celebrate their win in England after 21 years.

totally agree, man. When Vaughan's fabulous home record is ending with 1-0 lose.He should try to draw the series.Losing a series after 6 years at home against a team who has just recovered from bad form.embarrasses us.

Well the discussion re English tactics is academic now. Time for Bell to step up and play to save a match now.

We give a "man of the series" to a player from both sides over here, so Khan & Pietersen look like certainties for their respective teams.
