I accept that we cannot really blame Warne for doing well against what he got, but I have seen him not do well against the top order more often than not against the quality batting teams.tooextracool said:but its fairly obvious as to why though, because the pace bowlers get to bowl ahead of him they get their chances against the top order first. what warne simply gets is either a couple of well set batsmen, or the middle-lower order, because thats whats left when you have a bowling attack as good as that.

i have seen him do brilliantly agaisnt the top order many times before. i think its quite possible that off late he has tended to do better against the tail but in the glory days he was as good as anyone against the top order.honestbharani said:I accept that we cannot really blame Warne for doing well against what he got, but I have seen him not do well against the top order more often than not against the quality batting teams.
Rafique?Deja moo said:Hmmm...could Mortaza be Bangladeshs first truly world class player ?
yeah, I guess I can agree with that. But he seems a bit moody as a bowler. Most times he is like God bowling leg spin, but every once in a while, he does bowl rather poorly, at the top order, especially. That is why I have always felt he is the Lara amongst bowlers while Murali is the Sachin amongst bowlers.tooextracool said:i have seen him do brilliantly agaisnt the top order many times before. i think its quite possible that off late he has tended to do better against the tail but in the glory days he was as good as anyone against the top order.
I find more than a hint of a bent elbow in his action. I suppose, it doesnt matter any moreJames90 said:Rafique is definately world class...61 wickets at 32. Four five-fors, that too for a left arm spinner, I rate him equal or just below Vettori
Looked like someone put the ghost of Old Tendulkar in himEclipse said:Go Ashraful !!!! good to see him playing this well.. he certainly has talent, one of the few Bangladesh players who has a good range of shots and can actualy take the attack to a bowler.
