Yep. Said it before as well, his innings in mohali is what convinced me that he was good.

Well, that is kind of the point. Let Smith play out a few more and then we can judge him. At the moment, his stats are extremely skewed - he is rather a home bully with a home average of 67 in tests and a away from home average of 41. That needs to first get evened out.

I mean, leaving aside the fact his record is actually 50+ away from home, no, you don't get to say on one hand 'we can't judge' then call him a home-track bully. That's judgement. And, I might add, absolutely without basis.
