Yeah, agree with this.Got a lot of time for Haddin who had to replace the best batting keeper the world has seen ( apologies to Lankan fans who would probably argue for Sanga). So what if he stumbles at times. He's been a very good gloveman who averages above 30 - I'll take that all day long. His star is definitely waning but I just wanted to go into bat for him because imho he cops more flak than he deserves
Yep. Iirc Nate came up with it.I thought it was this tbh. Not aware of the amalgamation.
one of the many reasons I rate him - tough, uncompromising and quite happy to bat uglyGosh Hadds is taking it on the shoulder, tough for him but hopefully they make it to the end unscathed.
Sleeping off the previous days tinnies tbf.didn't look like 70 000 this morning, reckon we've had a few come in this arvo via the beach and shops
Yeah I quite like those kind of players in a way - I rate Rogers as well. But Haddin's just looking more at sea than merely gritting it out. Happy he's not throwing his wicket but he'll be happy if he makes it to the end of day's play.one of the many reasons I rate him - tough, uncompromising and quite happy to bat ugly
Not really sure that's because he's vulnerable or because he's simply deadbatting it. Not attempting to put any force into his strokeplay at all.Actually feeling Smith more vulnerable than Haddin here. Hasn't had a lot of strike and not middling it when he does. Come on son and get us to stumps
for sure. I'm goin grey just watching him atm - but hey, he's got 22 priceless runs at a tentative stageYeah I quite like those kind of players in a way - I rate Rogers as well. Plus, half the balls he's got he could have left ffs. At least duck if it's a bouncer instead of trying some crap.
