Realize Haddin has had **** phases in his career but I didn't know he averaged 33. Thought he averaged about five runs higher for some reason.
He's never delivered like Aussie hoped away from home. Probably averages about a billion on home decks.

Honestly the aussies have been so lucky to stumble upon a gem like this Smith kid....everyone remembers when he first came through and all the talk was "he's the nxt Warne"...but the lad has buckled down and everytime he's at the crease you can tell he's worked very hard on his game. Granted these indian bowlers in these conditions aren't exactly the biggest test but one must still admire Smith's rise to prominence with the bat and it will be interesting to see how he's going in the next two years or so.

Got a lot of time for Haddin who had to replace the best batting keeper the world has seen ( apologies to Lankan fans who would probably argue for Sanga). So what if he stumbles at times. He's been a very good gloveman who averages above 30 - I'll take that all day long. His star is definitely waning but I just wanted to go into bat for him because imho he cops more flak than he deserves

Bowling averages after the second new ball, South Africa on top with ~19.5, India second last just above Bangladesh at ~44. Even Lanka was ~33.
Am glad they are above Bangladesh in this case...earlier when they were showing average of spin bowlers outside Asia over the last few years, India were rock bottom with 50+ average.
