Harris fit, Harris plays. Unbreakable universal law.
Tbh, as good as I thought Harris was, just thought about something else that makes him more of a god amongst leather-fingers. By virtue of the way he operates, he makes it real easy for umps to give lbws. Gets very few contentious ones, they're generally plumb. I know my finger is half way in the air as soon as he hits pad, must be comparable to McG by proportion. He gets a lot more lift off the seam than you'd expect a bloke looking as skiddy as he does so you have to be very wary of when he comes knocking on your front door but if it's on the 4th stump line, you're in with a big chance of of nicking out too. If I had to pick one aspect of how hard it is to face him, the tension between what is for him a slight change in line is it because at the business end you have to watch it so, so hard.
Tactics around the wicket ball, man.
