***Official*** India in Australia 2011/12

International Debutant
It's as bad as teams who play a spinner when they haven't a decent one just for balance sake. India really only has one decent seamer so you wonder why it would play four just because it's Perth. Ashwin's 0/157 in Sydney was hardly a ringing endorsement of his credentials with the ball though. He certainly looks the goods with the bat.

Is it just me or does Warner look all at sea on virtually any occasion he doesn't attack. It happened in the last over yesterday, a couple of times today & even against NZ at Hobart when the 9th wicket fell & he tried to defend.

Yet every time the chap tries to hit boundaries, he's a genius regardless of where it's pitched.
Na against NZ he was quite restrained for most of the time. A lot of quality leaving etc. in that innings. I think his problem is he doesn't really know whether to attack or defend, so he is kind of getting himself in two minds. Will sort itself out once he starts finding some more rythmn to his game I reckon.

So Warner requires 70 off 41 from here to beat Astle's fastest double century record.

Chances?
