Whatever it takes!!!
Shaping up to be a cracker of a test match. If India can keep them down to about 250 lead, it will make for a very exciting 4th day...

To be fair, leaving did Cowan no good and Clarke had a well-known technical flaw exploited by a really good ball, but yeah...
Yeah Cowan's was just completely poor judgement. Clarke's was a decent ball, so you can't really have a go at him. Just gets back to the point that we can't keep relying on Clarke to bail us out, because sometimes he will get good balls and won't be able to save our ass. I yearn for the days when our batsmen are getting out to good balls and not **** shots.

Yeah quite. I think he's lost a bit of form too, which is unfortunate.

Wouldn't exonerate Clarke entirely. Good ball, yes but you could've driven a Panzer through the gate he'd left open.
Welcome to Michael Clarke's batting early on. Once he gets the straight/cover drive away he looks so much better but early on his footwork is pretty dodgy and he almost always leaves a gap.

If Hussey and Ponting stick in here this game could get away in a hurry..the Indians have bowled way too short imo and the field setting is very defensive as well

Pretty much every wicket that's come about from a good ball though is going to have some element of poor batting technique to it. It's always easy to criticise with hindsight and replays anyway. The bottom line is his dismissal raises far less concerns than any of the others.

Now it has been proven that ....M.S.Dhoni is the best tail-ender batsman in the world....he just drag his bat with his foot for a cover drive and gets out interestingly behind the stumps.......And I wud like to add on India's capability that whoever is out of form for as many days or months possible can make a great comeback by scoring as many runs against the supportive India...like Ponting and Hussey are having great fun with support from India.....!!!!
