Well an "Americas U19" side got steamrollered in the West Indies last year, and the USA U19 team came off very much the worse against Trinidadian club sides over Christmas. So yeah, much improved... (!)
Australia got beaten by Bangladesh...does that mean every player on their team sucks?

Australia didn't lose every match they played heavily. One of the worst analogies I've ever read.

Have a look at the U-15 Tournament in Caymen Islands in 2004.

No, the two wins against caymen islands.
Ohh... wow. Population 42,000.

Such a mind-blowing achievement. Now, unless you have something productive or relevant to add, I'd suggest you stop making yourself look a muppet.

So are 14 and 15 year olds going to play in the ICC trophy?
To say nothing of the Caymen islands, who have to pick their side from three boatloads of fishermen and a few hotels.

Bobby Chawla, you're a star.

Ireland 180 for 7, Chawla's got three wickets, including E Joyce, Gillespie and Johnston.

(now, the only problem is that either Denmark have to chase that in 30 overs, or Bermuda have to concede 270-odd to the States...)

I believe that if the Canada match is concluded today, then NL vs. Scotland match will be continued tomorrow. It's only when all matches from the same group are rained off that the reserve day is not used.

At leats, that's what I hope :)

Anyway, play is about to restart.

I thought it was only when all the matches were rained off that the reserve day IS used...

Besides, there will be a result today - D/L or otherwise.

If they can actually beat the Irish it would be a major shock...and would probably relegate the Irish to the fifth place play-offs.
As soon as the Dutch beat Scotland I'll be all in favour of that scenario, but for now I'd definitely prefer not to have the Irish in there.

Nah, the Irish have vastly superior NRR and Bermuda will have that, too, once they beat the US.

Denmark 5 for 1, have lost their opener Ali. *mutter*
