Dreadful by Carey. He has looked poor since the Bairstow incident. It has clearly got to him as he never put a foot wrong in opening 2 tests.

ah wait nah the bail wasn't totally off so was not out.

But yeah as above we'd have lost 4 overs with 3rd umpire then.

Athlai

Not Terrible
Of course there wasn't an appeal. He didnt catch it and also smashed the stumps with his gloves.

They had no way to know the ball may have also made contact

Stapel

International Regular
I honoustly wouldn't know if it's out when a ballless glove and the ball hit a stump at the same time.

Cricketer Of The Year
Wondering how few overs the Aussies will actually bowl this morning, seems like they've accepted the penalty already.

We may as well forfeit the 5th Test at this point. This is like watching visiting sides to Australia.

Are we really surprised our fairweather pretend ecologist of a captain isn't smart or ruthless in his captaincy?

It was done for as soon as we tried to literally have our cake and eat it too with Marsh and Green. It's moronic to go ahead without a frontline spinner and it was always going to invite bad karma
