I've never doubt JP's abilities.Remember during the SL series when certain people mocked and derided those of us who said JP's last two innings had signalled a return to form?
Yeah, suck it ****s
Agreed. This around the wicket line is odd and he is being smacked around by Prior .I've been extremely disappointed with how Harbhajan has bowled. I know there's nothing in the pitch for him and that he's been employed at irregular times for long spells because Zaheer's injury, but he's by far the best bowler in the rotation at the moment so I would've expected some more variation and thought in his bowling. He's just bowled darts and his line and fields have got more and more defensive as the match has progressed to a point of the ridiculous now. The role he's played could've been covered quite easily by Raina or Yuvraj; he's been that innocuous. A real let-down after the massive strides he was making in South Africa, regardless of the pitch conditions, IMO.
Prior toying with Bhajji's bowling herePrior is so good. Been a fantastic knock and he has kept KP going nicely.
It's not the greatest pitch in the world for spinners, but I wouldn't say there is nothing. A couple have turned pretty noticably, certainly would have been enough to interest Swann I would have thought.I've been extremely disappointed with how Harbhajan has bowled. Lol. "Mastery".Have to say that if Goughy made a comment like that he is seriously misinformed. There aren't 5 bowlers in the international game that have the same mastery of seam and swing as Praveen does. Considering he is only 24 that is remarkable. As I said earlier, he might run into problems when the ball isn't moving around as much but his selection for the tour of England and for this game is a masterstroke in foresight and hindsight. I cant imagine Sreesanth bowling 40+ overs in this inning as Praveen will inevitably bowl.
You need to post more TBH.It's not the greatest pitch in the world for spinners, but I wouldn't say there is nothing. A couple have turned pretty noticably, certainly would have been enough to interest Swann I would have thought.
And as I type Kumar finds another edge.
