Praveen's figures suffering from playing in a 3-man attack with the others bowling like incompetent ****s. Watching Ishant bowl in particular has been painful. Still, what a hero. Keeping your team's bowling together in your 4th ever game in an immensely pressurized game. Pretty sure hundreds of county pacers can do that too.

Freddie Flintoff can get ****ed also.
yeah, Gun bowler to have. If ever he has to be termed unlucky, it should be not because that he did not find the edges, but because he was termed an ODI bowler and brought into the test team so late, especially considering India's pace bowling stocks.
He has the lowest FC bowling average of all Indian bowlers in the last 2 decades, and has also been decent in ODIs for India, with some batting ability to boot.

I**** Sharma proving he's a minnows basher here. Not looked like getting a wicket all match has decent pace atm though.

Loving Kumar. He might be a tad slow if the ball wasn't swinging but he seems a pretty legit guy taking the crowd banter unlike a certain other Indian bowler. I remember when I was at the 2006 Trent Bridge match and some people in front started ribbing Sreesanth, threw a paddy and then bowled that beamer. Hilarious.

Have to agree, it is absolutely remarkable he's only 24 years old, he looks well over 30!!
Yep, I've seen him bowl for RCB plenty and I know he can bowl faster than he is currently. A bit bizarre to see a 24 yr old bowling at his pace. I've been a huge advocate of bringing him in to the test side for a very long time, its a bit strange to see that hes bowling in the mid-late 70s at the moment but it might just be a case of bowling within himself to get the most out of these conditions and he might actually bowl a bit quicker if the conditions demanded it.

Bowled this pace against the West Indies as well. Usually does bowl a fraction quicker in limited overs cricket though.

Very crucial time for India now...The onus is on the bowlers to make sure that all 3 probable results stay probable by the end of the day...the time is now!

I did notice that, though only caught glimpses of that series. My understanding was that those pitches were also extremely favorable bowling conditions and his biggest test will obviously come when he plays in not so helpful bowling conditions. Would be interested in seeing what kind of pace and swing hes able to generate.

Not necessarily a minnow basher, but he's not a bowler that is made for these conditions. One suspects he might go better at Edgbaston and the Oval, but he's a much better bowler on faster/bouncier wickets. I am not sold on him whatsoever, I think his current skill set make him suited to a limited number of pitches, most of which aren't seen on a regular basis in international cricket.

Good partnership this now. 76 in no time and India are looking tired out there, understandably for the bowlers but they need the fielders to stay on it to keep them going now.

KP has to be eyeing a double ton here.

Nah, senior bowler Harbhajan should have stepped up to the occasion. Can't let the likes of Prior being at ease against him. He was bowling well earlier in the day...has the knack of becoming a trash bowler when he goes wicketless for too long. Patience isn't the best of skills that Harbhajan has.

Can understand Harbhajan coming round the wicket, if it is spinning or he is threatening with doosra but right now is odd.
