Ok, they got that one right at least.
Yeah there are only two games in this series that had one side consistently ahead of the game: Lord's and OT. All the others could easily have gone either way.Lol Headingley was as tight as the first two
Yeah Lords and this both the same really, either they were both one-sided or they weren’tI don't think "outplayed" is a remotely fair description of this game when two hours ago it was absolutely 50-50.
Aussie bowling in a nutshell.Got smashed by Wood. I thought he was supposed to run through the tail.
Or they win the first test because they dominated it for the most part and run away with the series. This is all conjecture. Stokes didn't take the reins after losing the first 2. He was part of why they lost to begin with and they just took the scenic route to drawing. A draw is a draw. He remedied his mistake in the second half the series but he did do it himself first. If Stokes wasn't captain, this team wouldn't even be competing against Cummins' side in the first place and would have lost this series well before the final test.
Nah I think this was much more balanced than Lord's. England didn't even have a first innings lead here!Yeah Lords and this both the same really, either they were both one-sided or they weren’t
26 and counting22 years now since Australia last won a test series in England
****ing hate Wrexham full stop.****ing hate the circus that is Wrexham.
I just meant on final result tbf. 49 and 41.Nah I think this was much more balanced than Lord's. England didn't even have a first innings lead here!
Oh yeah but Lord's was never quite as close as the final result suggested IMO. And in general "outplayed" to me is more about who was ahead of the game throughout, not whether you could miraculously pull it out at the end.I just meant on final result tbf. 49 and 41.
I remember being told he was *as good as* Stokes.Remember when Aussies said Green is better than Stokes
green would of done jack all this test probably. I think this might be the last we see off Marsh in tests as wellI remember being told he was *as good as* Stokes.
As all rounders go, he was a ways behind Tod Murphy.
Maybe, but another half hour of Stokes and we might have got over the line, much as if either Smith or Head had hung around here they would have.Oh yeah but Lord's was never quite as close as the final result suggested IMO. And in general "outplayed" to me is more about who was ahead of the game throughout, not whether you could miraculously pull it out at the end.
