There were a lot of free tickets to this one being handed out in the past week, a fair sign that they were worried about it in the lead up; to be fair they had 80,000 last Saturday night and this Friday night is the one with the most commercial appeal.

Probably doesn't help that Liverpool were in Brisband and Adelaide this week too, so we're very much spoiled for choice as to which European teams we feel like watching

They may well have sold/given away 43k tickets but no way was the ground 45-50% full

Apparently the "mystery striker" LVG wants at United is Llorente. Interesting one, and not one I would be overly excited about if I was a United fan. Llorente is good, but he only scored 7 in 31 last year for Juve, hardly been smashing them in in recent seasons. If I was United, I'd be going all in for Benzema or Lacazette.

I was at the Roma game, was deffo a bit flat and the crowd was disappointing. Of course Liverpool are filling a 100k stadium and we aren't, they're a much bigger club with a huge fan base and were very successful when most of the country were young. The same with United. We were **** for 40 years and the fan base is small but loyal.

Livo and United fans lauding it over us like its some kind of insult, do we look like we give the slightest **** about it? Ikki, what position did you finish in last year? Yeah that's ****ing right. Eat a giant dick. Sang Blue Moon with the Melbourne Blues until the voice went and did the Yaya Tourne dance on the steps of Parliament House. CTID!
