*Official* English Football Season 2015-16

Got the Everton-Stoke game on. Positive start. Have a strong side out and looking really bright early on. Looking forward to seeing how the younger guys go at the back too, Browning and Galloway in the side. Shame that Cleverley and Deulofeu didn't start, but I'm sure they'll make an appearance at some point.

Yeah both are coming on second half. :)

Earlier today, City beat Adelaide 2-0. Mabil ripped Clichy to shreds at one point...

Arnautovic far too good for Hibbert and Browning in the 1st half, if it wasn't for an awesome Jagielka tackle we'd be losing. Pienaar looked bright, but got absolutely battered by the Stoke defence. Looking forward to seeing Gerard and Cleverley in the 2nd half!

End product has been severely lacking today. Deulofeu had plenty of chances to influence the game, but just couldn't get anything going in the final third. Been impressed with the Stoke keeper though, maybe Butland could rue not making this tournament, Haugaard has definitely taken his opportunity.

Love our away kit. Going to order one but waiting until the transfer window closes in case we make a huge signing.

Yeah completely come out of the blue. All the noise coming out of the club seemed to be he's happy to stay, so to hear this (and it sounds like its referring to last season too, not something new) is a shock.

My logic is that Valdes would want to stay if De Gea goes, as he's a fair shot at no 1, with the De Gea transfer going quiet, a sudden explosion of 'Valdes off' suggests De Gea might be staying for another year.

Either way, Lloris breaking his wrist is possibly the best blessing Spurs could've asked for....

Liverpool have bid £32.5 million for Benteke.

Sad to read today of the passing of Brian Hall aged 68. He played for Plymouth for just over a year after leaving Liverpool.

Benteke to Liverpool is a strange one. He's a good player, but he's essentially just a trade-up for Rickie Lambert. He couldn't be further away from fitting Liverpool's style of play.

Baffling decision.
