Tbf with tomorrow being a bank holiday I can live with it. But normally I'm in a vile mood on a Monday and don't feel like watching anything. The coverage is indeed excellent though. Neville and Carragher are superb pundits.
Haha, tbh it's for those reasons that I tend to enjoy MNF. Weekday nights are usually fairly tedious affairs imo, so after a day back at the grind it's a great thing to look forward to, not unlike the mid-week Champions League games.

Di Maria to United looks done for about £60m. Which is too much, but at least this time we're overpaying for actual quality.

Also, on the subject of Di Maria, I think he'd be an excellent signing for Utd, and one they could do with. If the quoted price of £75m is accurate though, that is far too expensive imo. The guy is a £35-45m player max, I'd say.

Edit: Beaten to it by UC. £60m still a lot, but far more reasonable than 75. As said, probably better to overpay for someone who's seriously good than spend a similar figure bringing in mediocrity.

Some quality punditry from Jason Roberts on the Spurs/WPR game:

"What QPR have to do is quite simple - run about and work harder."
And people wonder why English football/coaches are stuck in the dark ages.

I think it was 75m euro, so closer to £60m. Really I'm totally fine with it. I think it's a marginally better deal than Ozil for £50m and only dweebs objected to that one.

That would sound more realistic, but the BBC are reporting the figure as £75m. Not sure if that's just them getting things wrong though.

F365 reporting it to be 56m - fair to say the fee will fall somewhere in the 20m scope that is 56-75m :p

Ozil wide left and Alexis as a striker failed miserably. Obviously still early doors but the way we're set up doesn't inspire much confidence in me over the course of a season. Need to bring in a couple of first teamers.
