Lukaku is decent and all, but world class? Seems generous.

Yeah but he sure has the potential to be and is already a proven goalscorer in the Premier League, well worth the money I would say.

The only thing that I don't like about this deal is it is another case of Chelsea making money on someone they hardly ever played.

Bought on potential. £28m is a lot, but he's still incredibly young, and already has 2 seasons in England where he's scored 15+ goals, which is seriously impressive. Delighted to have him back, didn't think we'd end up getting him on permanent, because of the price tag, so delighted to see us spend some big cash. Even if he doesn't end up staying the full 5 years, we should make some serious profit on him when we do sell.

I'm not referring to a case as there is no case going on. I am suggesting that whatever measure that the league or UEFA may want to make, it has to be agreed upon. It's forcing those restrictions that will be illegal.
