To clarify that actually because I didn't word that clearly, obviously spitting should be dealt with harshly but you get actual dangerous stuff that gets less than what Cisse has got which makes no sense to me.

Annoying commentators trying to be all mature by having a go at villa pans for running on the pitch. Yeah before the whistle blows is stupid but after the game give them a break its a huge thing for them let them have a moment ffs.

There's no long lasting consequences though. You're an Arsenal fan, you've seen players careers suffer in front of your eyes through broken legs. ****ing joke that people who've never had something similar happen to them try and brush it off as nothing and preferable to getting a bit of saliva tossed in your direction.

Özil is fine. Di Maria probably will be as well.

Though I do wonder if people jumped the gun a bit with Di Maria. He wasn't really that special for most of his Madrid days. When Arsenal signed Özil there was talk about a potential Di Maria scoop for £25m odd instead or as well. No one really said, "hang on, they should've got Di Maria instead". He had an excellent second half of last season, but I'm not sure it turned him from a high class player to the biggest Premier League import of all time. Ancelotti found a system to get the best out of him but LVG hasn't really come close to doing it or even trying.

I wonder if LVG thought he was getting someone he could use like Robben. Play defensive and have 1 guy who can create something so you can take 1 nils.
