A winter break would be absolute ****e though. Can't think of a realistic FA decision that would piss me off more.

Also tbf a lot of those games sound like great entertainment.

That reason is because the quality is turd and no other reason.

But prem teams have these schedules regularly. Sunday-Wednesday-Saturday. Hardly an alien concept.

We didn't play today tbh, players need a rest ahead of Saturday

Yeah would hate a winter break, at this stage of the season at any rate. They probably could have given the games on Sunday a miss though.

Personally I would be more than happy to scrap the league cup and maybe have a short break in January.

Those aren't the norm though. You have the WC, Euros, confed cup and Copa America every four years. So chances are most years significant chunks of players are spending the summer months playing competitive high level football. I mean, I'm not really even advocating for a winter break. And if I were, it wouldn't be for the christmas period. Just don't get self righteous about the quality of football you're seeing when you're against taking measures to improve it.

Tbf I don't think it was me who complained about the quality? I've loved the footy I've watched this Xmas except for our shambles at burton, I mean chavs spurs just then was the best prem match I've seen since Liverpool arsenals 4-4 back in 09
