A winter break would be absolute ****e though. Can't think of a realistic FA decision that would piss me off more.

Also tbf a lot of those games sound like great entertainment.
I agree and don't think the winter games should be scrapped, they are often the best ones to watch. I think the frequency of these games, however, is a bit unreasonable.

Tbf I don't think it was me who complained about the quality? I've loved the footy I've watched this Xmas except for our shambles at burton, I mean chavs spurs just then was the best prem match I've seen since Liverpool arsenals 4-4 back in 09
Yeah, sorry, that rant bit wasn't really aimed at you, more just randoms who complain about it. My original point about fixture congestion which you replied to was purely a comment on the quality though.

The best games to watch are often not the highest quality games though. Not a complaint at all but the defenses of both Spurs and Chelsea looked dire tonight.

Anyway, a fairly predictable Arsenal display today. Disappointing obviously, but I would have taken 6 points from all of the festive games had it been offered to me a week ago.

Today's 5-3 isn't that incredible. We've seen loads like it in recent prem years. Only surprise was that it happened in a Mourinho big game, the type he usually kills with a Mikel.

Agreed completely, but give me entertainment over quality any day when am a neutral.

When I'm invested just give me a win

Everton have lost their last four league games and are 12 points off a Europa League place, only seven off the bottom. Only have to go back 8 months and loads of people were moaning that Arsenal hadn't let them get in the Champions League because they'd have been a breath of fresh air for the competition.

Had they got in they might have signed different players though

But ultimately they'd have gone out in the qualifying round because they're blue****e and always will be. Steve Yates and Jason Koumas have their number but hey they're still the best team in north wales

**** off you blue****e the Wirral is white

So when Gerard plays for Galaxy (presuming he does, and doesn't get lost like Lampard and end up at Burnley or something), can I accuse him of playing Hollywood balls without rebuke?
