Oh, didn't really want to talk about Saturdays match, well because, but I saw a german flag up saying Dortmond/Exeter jointly, think they were in the wrong country this week-end.

Yeah, apparently Ancelotti is fed up with him already, and wants someone more reliable to compliment Ronaldo. The funds generated from his sale would be put towards going after Suarez apparently.

Tis all just paper talk though, and I can't actually remember where I read this. It probably would be a surprise if they got rid halfway through the season, as they don't really have a lot of cover. But then again, I thought it odd that they chose to get rid of Higuain over Benzema in the first place.

Lewandowski to Bayern will probably be confirmed in January when it officially can be.

He mistakenly admitted it a little while ago, and since has been denying that it's a done deal.

Jesus some refs make it hard for themselves, eh?

Looks as if even Kiessling was trying to say it didn't actually pass between the uprights & the **** still gives it.

Morrison against Lithuania? He's a talent, but there's heck of a lot of talk about him going to Brazil off the back of two goals against weak or beaten opposition.

I can see the temptation though. The above clip reminds me of Gazza, and he can do that with any sort of regularity between now and May, then fair enough.
Given he's a prize idiot though, I don't think we should be providing any further opportunities to turn his head before he's actually earned a reputation when the going isn't so easy.

Boy does have issues, yes. He actually had a set to with Zaha in the U21 game where he scored that (admittedly eye catching) goal too, so we saw both sides encapsulated:

I agree with everything you say about him being an idjit, but if England are to do well, you probably need an unexpected x-factor. Gazza, Rooney, Owen all exploded onto the scene at Tournaments and gave us something different.

Morrison has that type of talent, I don't think there's a big problem about talking about him being around the squad.

Him or someone deeply uninspiring like Milner, or even Young, I know who I'd rather go for, at this stage.

Anyway, Scaly won't be a fan, which is always a plus.

Well, there's not going to be many English players getting picked on the basis of doing anything against strong opposition tbh.

Got more chance of going to borstal than Brazil. Really can't see him keeping his nose clean in London. Only thing thats kept him out so far is a loan to Birmingham, and its a well known fact that fun has yet to reach Birmingham.

Dunno, Sterling has quite a "colourful" life away from the pitch too and he was called up to the main squad.

Woy strikes one as a pragmatist. See also Captain Racist's inevitable unretirement.

Sterling's 'misbehaviour' isn't in the same league. Morrison was found guilty of witness intimidation.

I wouldn't pick him personally. He's barely even in West Ham's first team. Unless he finishes the season very strongly someone like Adam Lallana would be a much better pick.

I dunno, didn't Sterling assault one of the mothers of one of his kids or summat? I'm always a bit loath to indulge in moral relativism, anyway.

If Woy thinks he can handle Ravel (and what kind of chance does a boy have with the kinda ****s for parents who'd call a baby that?) and he'll add something, he'll go, regardless of his off-field mentalism.

I mean, wasn't Ribery investigated for statutory rape not so long back? He still makes the French and Bayern teams. If you're good enough and all that...

Just pathetic from Liverpool. Lethargic, and as always, only wanted to start playing when they fell behind. Talk of being title contenders is hilarious, and Top Four not at all realistic unless we get some quality in January. Sigh. :(

That would be one of the more depressing outcomes even by today's standards. And I don't care if Terry is keeping Cahill out of the Chelsea side at present.

Going back to Morrison, I'm happy to see him discussed if we see a string of good performances between now and May, but I just think it's premature after notching a couple against Lithuania and running through the remnants of a knackered Spurs defence when the game was already won. His manager using the word 'genius' wasn't the smartest move given the lad's mental state. From memory, Rooney, Owen and Gascoigne had done rather more before being unleashed in major tournaments.

It could happen though. Especially if one or two of the others get injured. I'm not saying definitely not. Only that it's early days.

And I certainly wouldn't want Young anywhere near the squad. Milner I sort of see the point of in a limited bring him on when we only want to hold on like against Poland sort of way.
