Yeah, bit early to say, but may have to eat my words about him not being good enough to do a job in midfield on a full-time basis.

Yeah I thought he always had a good chance of improving, still very young with plenty of talent and seems to have a good work ethic too. Fans are always too quick to write off young players though.

I've heard you say this a few times but we have actually lost a fair few recently - Parker, Huddlestone, Livermore, Bentley. I think we've got around 10 midfielders excluding Bale. Happy to be on 6 points from the first 2 games but it would be nice to score a goal through good ball movement and not just from the penalty box..
