Meanwhile, am I the only one who finds Henderson body language hilarious in that GIF?
Looks genuinely confused as to who is in charge. Sees Kenny get royally put in his place. Looks flabbergasted and waits for Kenny's reaction, which never comes. Then thinks "ah **** this then, will just plod through with the match".
 Love it.

On the whole, I don't mind Carroll, Downing and Adam as squad members, even though it's disappointing how much we paid for the first two. But Henderson playing in 90% of games is just unforgivable.

It's hard to put my finger on what I don't like about Dalglish, but I think it's pride.

As I heard Schmeichel say once, you can't talk politely and quietly on a football pitch because there's no time and primarily they won't hear you. Plus obviously it's very heat-of-the-moment stuff.
This entirely fits with my own experience of competitive football too. And I'm not exactly playing in front of crowds of 50,000. If you feel the need to retain a healthy respect for your club-mates in all on-field communication, you're giving up a pretty huge edge to your opponent. I think the fact that you don't see it when you watch a game on TV makes its importance quite underrated. Noisy defenders are often better than good ones.

I think Dalglish can handle it. Was hilarious though, looked like a kid screaming at his embarrassing parent to get out of his classroom.

United so predictable in that first half it was embarrassing. Utterly dominated possession, but there were four genuine saves in that 45 minutes and three were by De Gea.

Blackburn outplaying us here in a sense, we've had all of the ball but they've had most of the chances. Strange lineup from Ferguson- no attackers on the left, Jones in midfield and Hernandez starting ahead of Welbeck. Welbeck was poor last week but Hernandez has been poor all season.

The attacker on the left - nominally - is Rooney, which in itself is a crazy waste of our most potent goal threat. Like you say, strange.

Should the keeper have done better? I'm only going by the commentary on the guardian's website.

Beyond that, MU doing what they always do, and good luck to them.
On replay, maybe, just maybe - looked like he was caught in two minds as to whether Valencia would shoot or cross. Still absolute quality from Valencia regardless though.

Bloody typical, two excellent goals so can't really begrudge them victory (although I wil anyway) just hate the way the pub erupts when they score.

Still not sure if I rate Rafael, but he smashed it at right back tonight. Jones still looks clueless in midfield.

Rafael's ok. Plenty of energy and good with the ball but not a lot of footballing intelligence when it comes to things like positioning and not getting sent off.

I don't think Jones has any of the qualities required to play midfield for this United team. He's the best in the tackle that we have apart from Valencia but he doesn't know how to shield the defence and his passing and technique are so, so far from what we need in that position.

Apparently Carroll shouted '****ing joke, ****ing ****, **** off' at him on the way off when he was subbed.
Describing himself I assume. He's certainly become a joke and the fact that we lost Fabregas for around the same price makes me feel sick. If RVP goes in the summer I wouldn't be happy with anything under 50 Million (not that I would be happy with any price for him to leave) considering the amount this **** cost.

Jones was owned. Lot of the Rovers guys were probably jealous that a guy who was second choice for Rovers last year can now be playing for Manure and be the big hope of English football. Steven N'Zoni just kicked him from pillar to post and at one point just chucked him onto the floor in front of the ref. Credit to Jones, he just took it.

Was a **** game. Rovers were very good value for a point (Manure would have be given the goal that Rovers had disallowed) but they didn't even bother playing football, just aimless long ball bollocks. I think I touched the ball more last night than Jason Lowe. Aside from that Grant Hanley makes Wayne Rooney look handsome but is at least a proper defender and makes up for all the all **** Scottish footballers the club has had since the great Colin Hendry left. Back in the relegation zone. There to stay.
