I'd be intrigued to hear others thoughts on this

Definitely agree with 1-5, although I'm not really sure where I stand on those before it

Norwood's on Fire
All fair points but Man U having 30 points deducted every year needs throwing on the list.

Had managed to force myself to forget that tonight's game was happening so that I could get through today normally. ****ting bricks now.

Barca just starting to turn the screw - not suprisingly Van Persie & Fabergas don't look fit and Arsenal really struggling to hold up the ball as a result.

Absolutely ludicrous by Fabregas. Another big game, another stupidly gifted goal by the Arsenal. I'm pissed off with them and I don't even support them. Dread to think what Marcuss & Brumby make of it all.

30 minutes in the Nou camp with 10 men. The Alamo will have had nothing on what's to come. Sounds like a spectacularly stupid decision by the ref though.

Haha, dire red card. Not going to claim it changed the result, but the decision to award it was bordering on farce.

Oh yeah, hope Bendtner keeps true to his word and hands in a transfer request.

Well, over the two legs Barca were comfortably the better team. However, being the worse team doesn't mean you can't deserve victory. I think the ref killed them with the sending off. Not because they conceded two goals - IMO they were always going to concede two goals, whether with 9, 10 or 11 men - but because when Barca needed two goals they lost their best chance of scoring another. Enjoyable tie, but I get pissed off, as a neutral, with these kinds of refereeing decisions that practically decide a match.

There is nothing worse than a referee who seems to have the idea that people are here to see him referee rather than watch the game. Common sense should be the key and it really isn't sometimes. This evening I played in a friendly fixture for the Staff XI against another school... ref gave three foul throws in the first minute, about 30 in total, several goal kicks that were corners and vice versa, a palbably wrong penalty against me and talked down to everyone like a five-year-old. Not a hope of getting respect when you don't give it.

When Bendtner came on I said he'd have Arsenal's one clear chance and miss it horribly. Such a consistent player.

The Van Persie decision was a whole other level of dire, though.

Although Barca should have had a penalty in the first half and gone 2-0 up back at the Emirates.

Untill the sending off the game looked to be following the same pattern as the last game against them. Absorbed pressure well enough, was still well in the game and in good position to launch something as Barca were looking like slowing down. The red card killed any chances we had of finishing the job, absolutely horrendous. Tough to swallow.

Next club, West Ham. Bout his level.

You just know Manure will get Shakhtar next round.
