PAFC have finally sacked the buffoon Sturrock. Not that anyone cares (I know no one on here cares but no one in Plymouth does either) as it's already too late.

I think they're hoping to get Steve Nicoll who was Mariner's boss in America. We're doomed already anyway barring buying 8 new players in January and getting them to gel instantly.

In unsurprising news, Citeh midfielder Michael Johnson is out for the season. I'm not sure who he has pissed off to have such bad luck with injuries.

Well we beat your lot at Highbury 3-0, and then what was it, 5-1 at the San Siro? I copped some **** the next day though.
Oba played so so well in that Highbury game. Expected so much more out of him after that tbh. Then again van der Meyde looked top quality in that game too.

The San Siro game however; wow Thierry. Seriously incredible performance from the great man. His destruction of Zanetti for one of the goals was magical.

Was indeed 5-1. "The Italian Job". Remember Henry's second, thinking he'd overran it but just jinking back and putting it away. Seriousl WAG.

It is now official that Dean Ashton has had to retire from football at the age of 26. Turns out that West Ham may now seek compensation of a £7 million insurance claim against the FA.

I've won a £10 bet made three years ago with someone who bet that Ashton would be England's top scorer in the 2010 World Cup. I didn't know he would retire, I just didn't think he was good enough. I wonder if my good fortune will be any consolation to him?

I think it got called before the season started. I know I definitely heard that he was planning to do so backk then. Was only a matter of time

Blimey a Stoke match that has actually been watchable, will wonders never cease.

Good idea for me to leave Shawcross on the bench for my fantasy team though, just the 10 points:unsure:

Decent start in the Prem, Twattenham and Man ****ty losing.
Chelsea just got themselves ahead and as I'm typing City have equalised.
Decent amount of goals so far.

Argyle 2-0 down as well (for Grecian)
