Find it ridiculous anyway, I personally would want to be able to represent my country at every opportunity.

I hear Aussie is a big fan of Jay-Z tbh.
At all, no real hip-hop fan would support that waste. The most over-rated artist in hip-hop history. Anyway sledge man dont lets corrupt the great football thread with talk of him. Back on topic..

On a slightly more related note, I agree with aussie to a degree. Jay-Z is overrated. I don't mind some of his stuff though, The Black Album was great. If only he actually retired....

Rass nah i cant let this comment past. No son Black Album was utter codswallop as they say over here. Gay-Z only has one true proper album - his first "Reasoanble Doubt", everything other album since then has been either commercial BS & highly overated (The Dynasty & Blue Print for eg).

The man abandoned real hip-hop & the streets & tried to appeal to white people too much (nothing racial meant here, its just a fact of the man's career). Plus the fact that he copied alot of lines from past artist like Biggie Smalls destroys his credibility. But the gullible world would never accept this, since everyone is bouncing all over his dick...

Ok back to football 4 sure now...

Meh, the hip hop genre is divided by culture more than any other, I can see where you're coming from, I just can't understand it. Fair enough.

Fergie finally getting some punishment, eh...

Hip-Hop divided up into Gangsta Rap (Biggie, Eazy-E, Dr.Dre, Wu-Tang, Big L, Ice Cube etc), Conscious/Political rap (Nas, KRS-One, Talib, Common etc), Horrocore (Eminem, DMX). The there is Pop where the Ushers, Chingy, Ma$e, Drake, Missy Elliot, Wyclef which people tend to like more because that gets more radio play. Gay-Z when he first came brought in this hustler/gansta rap swag to his album. The he suddenly switched up to pop - because he wanted commercial hype (& the underlying fact that he is weak lyrically) - which is abandoning the streets.

Man i want to stop ranting, but that nigga raises my blood pressure, the world needs to get off his dick..

Used to really like gangster rap (was the only music I listened to for a long while) but got really annoyed with the amount of white suburban kids pretending to be black people living in ghettos. Anyway enough about that, has anyone got a video link to Ngog's dive? Still haven't saw it.
