What's interesting is that had Cantona assaulted a fan in Feb 95, you'd fancy that United would have won five in a row 93-97. And was Roy Keane's instrumental in them not winning it in 98? Not sure on the second one, as Arsenal were awesome that season (sure Brumby will agree), scary thoughts nonetheless
Us winning at OT more instrumental, tbh.

But, yeah, we won (IIRC) ten on the bounce after we lost 3-1 at home to Blackburn. Won title with two games to spare.

Yeah, it was an amazing, amazing run, and FWIW I was rooting for you the whole time. In fact, just yesterday I named Marc Overmars as one of my all-time favourite non-SWA players, such did I enjoy watching that team

Can't understand the scoreline at Stamford Bridge, after all didn't someone tell us how easy it'd be for Chelsea to roll over Everton in the Cup final?

Isn't it funny how some games always seem to be turd? Can't remember watching a decent league game when the blue****e have played the chavs?

On the other hand Liverpool Arse always seems good.

SSN reporting a little while back that Roy Keane will take the Ipswich job tomorrow

Gary Neville & John O'Shea reportedly out for the next few weeks, maybe the season

And it was the FA Cup final today?
No, it was at Chelsea's home, which is generally an advantage.

Chelsea may well win the Cup final, but to say Everton would get thrashed, was a clearly petulant statement, born out of your team failing to win one of the myriad of cups your up for.

Possibly. United were playing some incredible stuff before Keane went out.

Dumb excuse nevertheless, it's not like everyone else doesn't have to deal with injuries too.

Believe me, I'm not making excuses for them as you're spot on. More, it's worrying to think what might have been!

Important point for Scunny..have a feeling you are going to have to win at Glanford park on the last day to get in the play offs(it will go down to the last day now regardless of other results)..would imagine that would be a sellout.

Yeah, chances are we will both win our next games, meaning they'll probably go into the game with a slight goal difference advantage (unless we manage to absolutely hammer yeovil, would be worth going for it). Going there and winning is unlikely I must say. That might well be the point that takes them up - I reckon either them or us will win the play-offs, on the basis of the other teams all being better
