Blunder? Can't see the game tbh, am listening on Alan G***n on the radio.
beaten on the near post, shouldn't of been, ahh well laid off on a united win, so i'll win a fiver, glad i didn't with the draw now.

still dodgy pen turned it, but it is spurs, so they'd of probably capitulated anyway......

Berbatov scores. Not happy with him being booed by the dickheads sitting in the United section of the crowd today (i refuse to call them fans).

We were one-nil down with fifteen to go. A draw or win, didn't really make much difference, assuming S****horpe beat Cheltenham (which they will) then we needed to go to S****horpe and win regardless. However a defeat today would have meant we needed to go there and win by at least three goals (again assuming they beat Cheltenham), which let's face it, won't happen. So you'll forgive me for going ****ing mental when Tony Kay scored, haven't celebrated a goal like that since we stayed up at the dongs. :D I ****ing love that guy.

It was our last scheduled home game (hopefully we'll have one more) so the players did a lap of honour, Greenacre was in tears as he walked round and said bye. Got a great ovation, will miss him :(

But now, game on, wish I was going to the scunny next week, but regardless, bring it on. Big game, and in the whole time I've been watching Tranmere we've never had anything proper riding on the 46th game (we've had games that decided who we'd play in play-offs and general midtable positions, but never anything that matters) and I don't know if my nerves can take it. God knows I can't hope with the play-offs!

Clearly T*ttenham losing is what I'm all about as a football fan, but that was a seriously iffy penalty call it must be said. Surely even Webb could see the ball moved sideways when Gomess touched it?

Redknapp will no doubt use it to distract from the fact that regardless of the penalty his team went on to turn a 2-1 lead into a 5-2 drubbing. Debateable decisions are always useful to turn attention away from your own team's failings.

Okay, what confused me was that you said Spurs turned a 2-1 lead into a 5-2 defeat when in fact they turned a 2-0 one into such a result!

Agree that Redknapp will use it as an excuse, and I never saw the game, but we all know that you can't very well turn around and say "well it would have been 4-2 anyway" - and I know that's not what you're doing, but who knows how things might have turned out had the pen not given?

But yeah, your fundamental point is that tottenham really ****ed up. I think Liverpool fans have accepted that that's it, now. United on 18 titles and could creep up on Liverpool for European Cups as well. My dad said to me earlier today, "if they win the Champions League and that takes them to 4, well they can start waving FA Cups around..." made me lol anyway

edit, dad is a lpool fan btw

The Liverpool fans i knew were signing off their title hopes after the midweek draw with Arsenal. But football doesn't seem to be letting them as every time they think "that's it" something dramatic happens that makes the title race look wide open again, if only for a brief moment. It was exactly what happened against Chelsea in the CL.

United and Liverpool are two clubs that drama just seems to follow around everywhere.
