We showed some balls to get the result and created a fair few chances despite being a man down but wow, Adebayor before he went off was rubbish and Eboue was an utter disgrace again. Song's miss was bad though, we could've nicked it.

Lucky goal for us, the way it deflected in of Giggs standing leg...... Never in a million years could Giggs planned to strike the ball that well with his right......

Haha Wenger. So biased, you could tell exactly what he was going to say when the reported asked him what he thought of Eboue being sent off. Bloke annoys the hell out me, however good a manager he is. That said, Sralex is really much better.

Good move for both parties, but if he starts magically banging them in I'll be pissed off. At least he'll be heading back if he does.

This was regarding Jo, so bloody typical that he'd have a great debut scoring 2 goals. I think he's a good fit at Everton tbh, although most people appear that way after a first up match like he had.

Bit of a lucky escape from 'pool against Pompey. Was a lovely Keane-esque miss from Babel just before Nugent slotted home the first goal. For anyone who watched the game in it's entirety, how did N'Gog play? See anything that suggests he has a future in the EPL?

Yeah I watched the match, actually looked like he cared about the match which is more than he ever did at City. Hughes would be tearing his hair out.

If he continues banging them in Hughes won't sell him on. Especially considering he doesn't need the money.

Hey aussie the Milan derby is on live on BBC3 on the 15th.
Brilliant. Won't have to stress to go down to the pub or call a friend to record the game from Setanta for one day. Although i think Sky may show the Milan derby as well...

Poor bloke inherited a sinking ship, had his best players sold and not much to reinvest back in the team. Shame, but his dream of managing Arsenal is probably up in smoke now too.

Yeah its a real shame and yet another English manager finds himself out of a job. Shows how close things are in Football, had Liverpool not scored two late goals yesterday he would still be in a job. Don't know what Pompey will do now though. Heard Curbishley linked with the job, not a particularly excting prospect but like with Allardyce and Blackburn I would back him to keep them up.

Good god I'm pretty nervous about tonight. Have been so excited about this game for a while now. Proper loins tingling stuff. Looking at the two midfield's, can't see it being the prettiest game but can see it getting rather nasty. Just have a hope we're going to nick it in a scrap.

Oh and this is some great marketing

Yeah, fair one. Happens all the time, remember Goodison getting an extra match on his ban because of a 'frivolous' appeal, the media didn't give a **** but when a Boro player got the same treatment a few days later the media were practically crying, and of course had it been a top 4 player there would have been no extra match, and maybe even an overturned appeal

Fat Phil's been sacked apparently, not a massive surprise, it has to be said. Clearly had lost the dressing room.....
