Majority of the crowd? I know that fans sing about that but each club has idiot fans. Two wrongs don't make a right though.

I found this on another forum

There's a place we know where Scousers go
and it's always lots of fun
you can have a laugh at many things
if you're ready with a pun...
Fascinating but what’s the point or relevance of posting such **** here?

Agree with this, really don't need such partisan nonsense on this forum. Let it stay on the venal fan sites, where everybody seems as vile as each other, imho.

May be but ever seen a majority of United fans mocking Liverpool for any of their disasters?
Actually yes, in this respect you get idiots in every breed. Obviously not a majority, but there are just as many United fans singing about Hillsbrough as there are Scousers singing about Munich.

Actually, looking at that 'song', if a utd fan sang it, i'd hope he got a kicking.

Never acceptable taking the mick out of tragedies like that song does to an extent. Even most Mancs will readily agree Heysel wasnt totally the fault of Liverpool fans. They shouldn't of reacted to being attacked by the Italians, but lets face it, they were provoked, and the Italian fans can take more than their fair share of blame for the tragedy that followed.

Either way, the references to Hillsborough and Heysel makes whoever sings it no better than the person there aiming it at. Pretty sure 90% of Manchester United and Liverpool fans would unite to share that sentiment. The other 10% are just vile excuses for humans.

That's the last of them. Have more but too much United stuff already. Went down like he'd been shot.

Majority of Liverpool fans don't sing those songs, majority of Untied fans don't either, some of both do. FWIW, I always thought City were worse for singing about Munich, and have heard teams sing about Hillsborough much more than I have heard United doing it. Such as Millwall a few yaers back, quite a lot of publicity about that.

The self-pity thing does have an element of truth to it though.

Reckon Liverpool will play the 2nd string against Arsenal tommorrow - would be very suprised if Torres or Gerard start. Expect Aresnal to win about 3 zip TBH.

Ha. Benitez hasn't won so much as a point at Highbury/New Highbury yet. Nailed on Scouse win.

Think (and hope) Arsenal win, would like to them going to Old Trafford with something to play for.

For Liverpool to win (without Gerard, Torres, Mascherano, Carragher etc) would be a minor miracle. Dirk Kuyt scored from open play this week though so I suppose miracles can happen.

So anyone watching the FA Cup semi tomorrow considring it clashes with the the Liverpool Arsenal game? The Beeb must be kicking themselves.

Watching the Semis - will be a better game.
I am biased, but I'd doubt it actually. The CL 1st leg on Weds was a pretty decent game, if frustrating from an Arsenal fan's perspective.

Semis are generally pretty jizz too; they're either whitewashes or snoozefests because both teams are scared of missing out on the big one. Given the teams involved it'll be the latter on the morrow.

I'll be watching Arsenal v Liverpool under 17s & then switch over for ET and pens in the semi.

Unfortunately I too am backing le Arse to win, typical Scousers that in one of the very few games I shall support them in, they won't take it seriously.

Bit nervous about going to the Riverside, we traditionally stuff it up royally there, however we are playing very well at the moment.

Main point was that whoever does it, it's wrong. Have heard of plenty of teams doing the airplane thing when they're losing against Utd though. Last time was against Derby this season at Pride Park or I think that's the last mention of it I know. Roma fans stuck to bottle throwing and cursing in Italian. Of course though quite a few United fans obliged and threw back stuff and taunted them.8-) Considering what happened last season....Idiots.

Hoping for a draw in the Arsenal-Liverpool game. More so ahead of a Liverpool win because I want them to miss out on the UCL but Everton making it easy.

Huge, huge day for me. Unfortunately I can't watch the game here in sodding France. Gonna have to make do with dodgy Five Live reception. Play Up Pompey!
