anything other than a man utd win will come as a surprise to me as an arsenal fan...still i'm optimistic that arsenal can come away with a result, but i dont think its very likely.

Didn't realise you were a CDMs supporter, will have to add you to ze list.

What's your problem with them, then?
Like PY said, it's a Cambridge thing. The Mighty U's are my little "pat on the head" team, so am duty bound to hate the (surely ironically nicknamed) Posh. Barry Fry being a massive client helps too, of course.

It's quite funny watching double-agent Atkinson (ex-U's player & manager) successfully tool up Peterboring's play-off "charge" in Big Ron Manager on Sky just now. That's like putting George Graham in charge of T*ttenham...oh, wait....

If Liverpool pull off a win and Man United charge over Arsenal, I will be one very happy MU supporter.
2-0 United & I actually think yer Scousers might just nick a point. Chavski haven't looked too flash just yet.

Will be interesting to see who gets the nod to go on the wing with both Park and Giggs out for three months / three weeks respectively. The contenders being Fletcher, 20Legend and Richardson... will definitely be a different style coming in. At least we have Ronaldo to carry on.

Barney Rubble

International Coach
The mighty Blues with a chance to roar back to the top of the Premiership at lunchtime today - Kranjcar, Douala and Cole all expected to make debuts against a weakened Charlton side, while Lomana LuaLua will be back in contention for a starting spot, and Glen Johnson returns at the back. Europe, here we come!

United need another good left-sided player in the ranks with Giggs at this twilight part of career, wont be surprised if Downing is targeted in the future.

Richardson is my least liked United player Parks energy will be missed, Fergie should have looked for another similar type mid-fielder.

Re Fabregas and the 8 year contract - I thought the rules only allowed a maximum of five years nowadays?
Didn't Jose Reina have a 10 year contract at Villarreal or some long deal? I don't know why he was allowed to join Villarreal because he is several times the keeper Victor Valdes will ever be.

I suppose one could argue all of his caps for England post Eriksson has been because of McLaren used to be his club manager...

I think, to be fair, he was the outstanding candidate in wee Joe's absence, but after seeing him play there he looks to be a little short of the requisite quality at the highest level. Although I can't in good faith really call Andorra or even Macedonia "the highest level"...

He may develop, of course, as he's only a boy really.

Yeah I thought so myself, he has plenty of time to develop, but it is a sad stae England must be on the left and I can name plenty of wingers better then Richardson will ever be. Still I will continue to advocate Downing on the left and Joe Cole on the right perhaps late in a friendly or something.

5 straight wins & a nil-nil when we'd already qualified. Jammy as hell, clearly.
Not to mention the supremely tight defence, clearly luck that nobody could score against you!
