Will be interesting to see who gets the nod to go on the wing with both Park and Giggs out for three months / three weeks respectively. The contenders being Fletcher, 20Legend and Richardson... will definitely be a different style coming in. At least we have Ronaldo to carry on.

The mighty Blues with a chance to roar back to the top of the Premiership at lunchtime today - Kranjcar, Douala and Cole all expected to make debuts against a weakened Charlton side, while Lomana LuaLua will be back in contention for a starting spot, and Glen Johnson returns at the back. I think, to be fair, he was the outstanding candidate in wee Joe's absence, but after seeing him play there he looks to be a little short of the requisite quality at the highest level. Although I can't in good faith really call Andorra or even Macedonia "the highest level"...Craig said:

Yeah I thought so myself, he has plenty of time to develop, but it is a sad stae England must be on the left and I can name plenty of wingers better then Richardson will ever be. Still I will continue to advocate Downing on the left and Joe Cole on the right perhaps late in a friendly or something.
