Err yea, because players always honour their contracts don't they?
So then, since you clearly know more about this than the rest of us, please tell us why he'd sign an 8 year deal which ties his career for a long time if Arsenal don't want to get rid of him (and also makes him very unattractive to other clubs because of the amount of money needed to buy him out?)

And did he say Arsenal were rubbish? Erm no.
No, but as you were also not really around at the time, I'll get you to check out the way Fowler did against Arsenal...

Nice to see the only English club playing in the CL tonight edge out Celtic, should keep the Scottish quiet for a while.

The English club with a Scottish manager and Silvestre, Giggs, Saha, Solskjaer et al.

This may not be English related but one of the greatest footballers of all time Ferenc Puskas is in intensive care. His scoring record is quite amazing with 83 goals in 84 for Hungary and 512 goals in 528 games for Real Madrid.

Brillaint game at Old Trafford tonight (well last night british time), Saha could have scored 4 goals, only disappointment was Rooney not scoring who didn't look at his best.

Shocked to hear Real Madrid going down 2-0 to Lyon..

nah they have always had potential over the years & they seem like quarter-finals, i can't see them winning especially since they have lost Diarra.

they have quality all over the park, they will be in the last 4 at least. I think this year they have decided to have a bigger crack at the CL cause they know they'll probably win their domestic league anyway...

Get in! They breed some quite good players in Hesselink, it looks.
As it's Steds, it could well be a joke, but the of in his name means or apparently, from when two people from aristocratic backgrounds married and couldn't decide which name to use

I'm pretty sure Celtic have beaten Liverpool in the Wafer since then too.

But no, you're quite wrong; up the hoops!
So what do you when Man Utd play Tottenham? Just don't watch the game?

Sad to hear about Ferenac Puskas though, I hope he makes it because it would reall have been a bad 10 days for football, losing two of the greatest players of their generation (and argueable of all time in their respective positions?)
