I'm not sure that sort of thing is allowable under current English Football regulations.

Certainly what I've read suggests that that situation isn't happening.

According to a British Brazilian journalist on Sky Sports News, it’s a lease with MSI paying the players wages. The Brazilian press and Sport Club Corinthians Paulista are also running with that story. MSI have giving the players to West Ham for a short period, a season or so then they will be sold on. As the journalist on SSN said, MSI investors are looking for a huge profit and West Ham even if MSI take over will not have these players for a long time because the only way MSI investors will make any money out of this deal is by selling them on. If that occurs West Ham like Leeds Utd with Mark Viduka, will not make more than a ‘dime’ out of the deal.
I'm wondering how legal that is.

I know in Brazil (and possibily in Argentina and other South America nations) that some clubs can't afford to keep the players/pay their wages so they sell the players rights to their agents or their firms, like in this case MSI.

One would think the FA are watching this like a hawk?

I'm going for 7-0 England as a prediction.
In my best Alan Hanson voice - There's no easy games in International Football. :p

Still reckon 4-0 though tbh.

Well, the frustrating thing is, he'll have a solid game today, but so would Scott Hiley.

Which means he'll be picked against Macedonia, I'll be putting my money on them.

Not to keen on brown or defoe either, utterly over-rated IMO.

From what I gather, MSI still own Tevez and Masc but their registration is with West Ham (according to FA rules). Supposedly this Iranian geezer isn't in business with Abram but with his arch-rival who's also a Russian billionaire.

West Ham will get 30% of the transfer fee when they are sold on. 70% will go to MSI. I think it's dangerous because this Iranian chap has said he's going to use West Ham as a feeder into the European market when he can make mega-bucks out of it. He's treating it completely as a business and how he can make a fortune.

And something to keep you amused, one tabloid suggested this was the recommencing of the Cold War with two Yanks in charge of Premiership clubs and two Russky owners. Made me laugh anyway. :p

West Ham have never won the first division or Premeiership, in todays climate the only way they will is if a billionaire with disposable assets take them over.

There were similar dire warnings from our xenophobic press when Roman took over, hasn't done Chelsea too much harm.

Tevez or zamora is a tough selection problem, though.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see....

I hear your guy has an international arrest warrant out from France on charges of arms-dealing and general fraud so I took him out of the equation. :p

Least you're honest about it.
The way I see it, he'll be there for a while, we'll do pretty well, but then Redknapp's ego and Gaydamak's vision for the club will collide and one or other will leave, sending the club spiralling back down the table. I'm just enjoying it while it lasts. :D

Setting up a goal, bizarrely.

Does anyone else think this would of been the perfect game to give Walcott his first cap.

After all all the other crap players are doing well, Tamworth are better then this lot.
