reasonable first half, ball stuck in mid-field mostly, Neville has looked ok in the wing-back role, Rooney & Crouch have hardly seen the ball, they need to get into the game more.

Pish, thats the most constructive thing I can come up with at this point.

The Downing haters are getting what they've deserved - terrible crossing all night, Kieran Richardson and a defeat. I'm not even that bothered anymore after the jeering of Downing the other night. For the good of humanity most football fans and journalists should be sterilised I feel.

Can someone tell me what happened. I'm only really following the scores on Bet365, as I don't have Foxtel in my room, which I am stuck in doing an assignment.

Tempted to go to the lounge and watch, but fighting the urge.

I presume your talking about Gary Nevilles own-goal, basically he passed back to Robinson who attempted a clearance, but he kicked over it, and it trickled into the net:laugh:

Even funnier, cashley looks injured. Well worth chelski getting rid of their best defender for him.

nah he didn't kick over it, it hit a divot from where he'd be takaing the goal kicks and jumped over his foot

Yeah your right actually, they talked about it for five minutes, so I should've putit better. Mind you the co-commentator was talking about how the formation caused it:laugh:

These blokes are unbelievable, its extremely hard to comprehend how with so much talented in this ``Golden Generation`` players who do so well at club level can't produce it on the international stage, after every poor performance some players always talks up on how they will improve but they never do. The only England game i remember us playing to the potential i know we can was the friendly vs Argentina last november & the famous win vs Germany, every other game they start well & end extremely poorly.

We went into the WC with a team that could have won it & played some appauling football, McClaren comes in they destroy some minnows & its back to normal again.

Is the coach the problem?, i dunno looking at tonights game its no different to when Sven was in charge, the FA should have really tried to get O'Neil or Hiddink. I want our side to win stuff, i have had faith in them even while they have played poorly. My Father has told me time & again since Euro 2004 that i shouldn't waste my energy behind England since they are worth it, i guess now i actually feel that way which is disappointing, something has to change and VERY QUICKLY or this so called ``Golden Generation`` is gonna go waste.

ITS NOT A GOLDEN GENERATION, get over it Aussie, they may be decent to great premiership players, but they lack the greatness to move into any positions on the pitch.

They're pampered ponces, imho.
