BTW where is James in all of West Ham's great start to the season?
Hehe, I'm still here, just don't have a lot of time to respond to regular threads with all the work I'm doing on other parts of Cricket Web.

A fantastic start to the season as you say. As long as they avoid relegation I'm happy :)

I think West Ham will be just fine. Especially if you get bought out as are the rumours, or at least were. The cash injection it would do should get you some more quality. Not that it is needed with Teddy in the team :p .

AC Milan lose, Real Madrid lose and I'm tipping that Luxemburgo will get sacked very soon by this idiot called Perez.

Anyone wants to take a bet until he has a job? I'm tipping he will get sacked by the end of November.

This is sick, Stam is getting me nowhere in my fantasy team at the moment. And i'm hoping that Woodgate is my shining light by getting Madrid out of this mess and getting me some much needed points.
The whole football world is going a bit mental at the moment. No-one knows how to win. Apart from Chelsea that is :@ . Oh and the English Premiership is becoming Serie A of the 1960's, which doesn't make entertaining viewing.

on a more positive note arsenal are winning 2-0 against everton with 2 goals from sol campbell which is rather strange, mind you thats incredibly good for anyone who has him in their fantasy team.

im afraid thats a harsh reality of football, which shows the decline of the sport imo.
Perhaps, though football has always had passing trends, so i'm not sure it is a sign of permanent decline. Whatever works best for each team is the best method. Chelsea have their method, whilst someone like Barca have their own because of players like Ronaldinho etc. Real Madrid however, have no method.....

Didn't you hear? He's currently playing against 14-year-olds "to build up his strength", or he was last time I heard.

Lol, his thigh is the size of an HB pencil, so he may be there some time. Quality defender mind.

Well when I heard that it was mid-August, so he may have moved up to the Under-15s by now...... :D

Wow. He might, God willing, actually play some football this season! Good for him, as much as I hate him for his part in the whole Sarfraz Najeib thing.

with him being on the chelsea roster i dont think definite is the word you should be using somehow.
He could start whinging about playing time in the future if it becomes a problem. You never know. He may even turn out to be a bust for them. :)

I don't think he's going to be missing many games.

As for him being a flop - why would you then want him? Missing your Kleberson/Djemba Djemba/Neville/O'Shea/Fletcher/Smith dodgy midfielder?

You know Marc if I had just joined this site I would have thought you were a Liverpool/Man Citeh/Leeds fan.

And AFAIK there isn't a rivalary between Coventry and the Bucs, so did it run from the family who hated the club from beforehand?

I actually dislike Citeh more, because of their fan's "big club" mentality.

First two didn't get enough opportunities IMO. Neville was ok. O'Shea shouldn't be playing in midfield. Fletcher is actually good and Smith's just had a few games so hard to classify him yet.

A stunning 2-3 victory over Gillingham for my Pompey boys. Despite the defence doing their best to lose the game by conceding three soft goals, and our missing a penalty in the last minute, goals from O'Neil and Taylor managed to secure a well-earned 2-3 win and a spot safely out of the draw for the next round.

:@ We're crap.
