Shame that we didn't see the best of either of them, never mind both.

On the other hand, Larsson > Henry & Ronaldinho. :p
Shame about the gamesmanship at the end, didn't have Henk down as that type.

Henry did alright first-half but tired quickly, too many games?? Goofy was pretty average.

I find myself so disappointed that Arsenal didn't win. I would've loved Henry to get his hands on the trophy.

Even though I hate Arsenal...

North London is up-and-coming place for football at the moment!

Henry completed a hell of a lot more than Ronaldinho, who did **** all and passed the ball out of play instead of shooting.
They were both awful on the night - which, as Bennett said, is a shame.

Shame, but hey, we went 4 rounds further than ManUre.
Shouldn't you support Hinckley Town or Melton Mowbray?

Hey, that'd be the side to watch, Melton - what about one of them hand-lifted pork pies at half time?

Henry was also on his own pretty much all game.

Ignoring the blatant dive he missed for Arsenal's goal?

He wasn't biased, just awful.
That was about the only wrong decision in Arsenal's favour all night - the inconsistency of yellow cards (ie Henry getting one for winning the ball, Barcelona players needing GBH to even be warned) was the problem.

Not to mention the diving issue.

How many times did he tell Ronaldinho, Deco et al to get up and then not book them?

He did the best he could do given the change in roles caused by the referee's error.

One mis-hit shot at 1-0, but apart from that he didn't have a lot to feed off.
That wasn't an error. Lehmann was the last man and fouled Eto'o. Law says that's a red so that's what he got. Should have done a lot better with that incident, Lehmann.

Scrabble Boy was right?

Edit:

Actually Ronaldinho was complete rubbish - almost as though he bottled it.
Whereas chief poseur did bottle it.

Absolutely lovely, CDMs are ahead after 75 minutes, chief poseur fluffs two sitters and costs the CDMs the game... I couldn't have scripted better it myself.

*waits for marc to say how chief poseur played in midfield tonight*

Deco and Eboue were the only ones who dived.

No, it was an error.

Referee's are taught to allow the advantage and then caution in that situation.

There was a booking for Barca where he blatantly won the ball too (and I can't remember who, I just remember that idiot Gray praising the ref for booking him and then eating his words when he saw the replay).

A goal is more important than a wrongful booking. Arsenal profited from a goal, Barcelona profited from wrongful bookings.

IMO it is debatable whether it was more profitable to Barcelona to have the goal or the sending off.

Meh well he took the other route. Sucks but c'est la vie.

Erm no, they weren't.

Van Bommel, Deco, Ronaldinho, even Messi did in the stands.
Oh come on!!8-) Deco was the only one of those who did dive and rightly should have gotten a yellow.

No, there wasn't. Only 2 Barcelona bookings, and both were more than justified. Olegeur was lucky to have gone that long without one.

Arsenal's goal wasn't solely because of the decision...

Shame it was ruined. Arsenal looked great tonight up until the red card, would've been a real close one going all the way I reckon. Still, enjoyed it but.
