Wat's happeneing to Oldham, Dave, are you guys choking?

We are in the dogfight now with three games left.  :@
Nope we are just awful. The way the other results have gone we could have been right up there aswell. The MK Dons defeat was just the worst game i've seen in a long time, and saturday we were 0-0 at half time, caused Barnsley problems, then Moore decides to change the system and we lose 3-0. Yesterday was expected

So you would say the same about say the Italian, the Spanish, or perhaps the German leagues?
Dominance by a few teams isn't limited to England & the 3 you mention tho. In Holland no-one from outside of PSV, Ajax or Feyenoord has won their title since AZ67 Alkmaar in (IIRC) 1981 & in Portugal when Boavista won their title a few years back it was the first team since WW2 someone outside of Benfica, Porto & Sporting Lisbon had won theirs!

Obviously in chilly Jockoland no-one from outside of the old firm gets a look in either.

In 13 years the Prem has had 4 winners already, which suddenly doesn't look so bad.

That said G14 are self-serving money-grabbers who wish to barter football's very soul & I'm in no-way defending them.

In the same way Sunderland staying up was.
No, because Sunderland never had any form.

If we'd have beaten them at the Bridge, it was 4 points. Given their form (up until recently) it was feasible for them to lose again. 1 point. Then nerves come into it.

I'm not saying that at any point it was likely that we'd win it. But it was possible.

I do wish every football commentator these days wasn't a classless footballing clone of Mark Nicholas. Yes Ronaldinho is one of the best players in the world - but everything good he does does not need to be upgraded to 'brilliant', it was a good pass and a better finish (which got a mention eventually). But Ronaldinho has still been crap so far tonight.

I wonder how costly those 2 1st half chances Milan missed will be and Gildarinho's miss:-O . But Ronaldinho is superb

oh shoot man, what a play from him again, of the post:cool:

Grr at Alberto Gilardino for missing so many chances. Three great chances that quality forwards finish off.

No way. Just no way Barcelona will go scoreless at home.

And yeah I shouldn't have said Villa... it'll be Barca/Arsenal in the final.

Of course Arsenal haven't ever been to the final of the champions league if I recall correctly... but still it was the wrong pick.

The winner there is invariably the most corrupt, blatantly cheating club that pays the biggest bribes - at least when Juventus win, anyway.
Juventus are Devon Loching it at the moment.

ITV commentary team on my nerves again... Tyldsley, Drury, Pleat and Beglin. Can we be spared the torture? They're worse than some of the Indian cricket commentators, give me Bob Willis any day.

Agreed with Scaly, Ronaldinho is probably the best player in the world, but I thought he wasn't at his best tonight, despite the commentary. Too many times he tried tight killer balls when there were easier, safer options. TBH I thought Dida was at fault for the goal, he came to the ball and retreated, and could probably have got there in front of Giuly.

Its just as bad at Griffin Park. One win in 8 and they somehow are still 3rd. Hudessfield contriving to lose tonight means was very good news. Just somewhow got to get that second automatic place because Forest are bound to win the playoffs.

Could be worse, could have Champion on there.

That man would do anything to mention the Nou Camp game in 1999, even if Manure were nowhere near the game.

I think the worst link I saw was a charity game last February between Europe and the ROW.

"And here's Kuffour, not far from the spot where he lay banging the ground in despair in 1999"

But Champion doesn't aspire to being the next poet laureate.

Oi!

Went Wigan-Villa last night. Shame Villa are more or less safe. Their defence doesn't deserve to be in the Premiership.
