I think they played that badly, though. They really weren't up to standard. You don't boo them for losing, but you do boo them for not putting in the effort that is expected of such players. In all honesty, they were really crap. Although to be fair, the packed defence of Sunderland worked fantastically.

It wasn't a huge boo, just noticeable.
I think we played perfectly well - their 'keeper just played out of his skin, and fair play to him.

It's only the deluded Manure fans who think that they ever had a chance and posts such as "Manchester United just lost the Premiership" suggest that they were almost favourites to win it.
I'm sorry, but until last night, we did have a chance. It might not have been a particularly big one, but there was a chance.

However you cannot say that a draw there has "lost Manchester United the premiership" because that would suggest they were going to win it, which at no point this season has been at all likely.

Yes, you're right there, however I was replying to the bit which said "deluded Manure fans who think that they ever had a chance" part.

What would you do if Tottenham just beat you to 4th, and then you lost in the final of the CL?
Oh I wouldn't overreact, I'd just find a stout tree, throw the rope over a sturdy branch & put the noose around my neck.

Still can't quite see it provided we win @ The Marble Halls. I think they have to go to OT yet so hopefully you can do us a favour.

Yes they have, I may even find myself almost supporting Spurs there now we can't win the Prem.

That would be just about my dream scenario regarding the CL spot.

Unfortunately, Arsenal now lead 2-1.

Bloody Toffees are rolling over to have their bellies tickled tho. Was hoping they might at least draw there.

Especially after they'd beaten us too. Never trust a scouser....

Everton were diabollical. I need to say no more. Spurs however knocked it around nicely, Aaron Lennon and Lee Young-Pyo were impressive.

Lennon is a very good young player and id like to see him go to the world cup, he is just as good as Shaun Wright-Phillips.

The fact that he is as good as Shaun Wright Phillips says it all really. Shouldn't go to the WC. Legend player on CM03/04 though!

A bit too soon for him, have to remember he is only 18 still.
