Why do the two best teams in Europe keep getting drawn against each other in the early knockout rounds? It's crap. :@ Chelsea-Barca deserves to be the final.

Real-Arsenal should be a spectacle.

Rangers have got just about the best draw they could have hoped for, apart from possibly Weder Bremen. Good luck to them.

and come to think of it - how was it decided last year?!?

i think you are somewhat confused
Not really. Last year it was decided on G/D. I want a clearer winner this time - like a team going through to the next round on two wins or a win and a draw.

Champions League draw:

CHELSEA v Barcelona
Real Madrid v CDMs
Werder Bremen v Juventus
Bayern Munich v AC Milan
PSV Eindhoven v Lyon
Ajax v Inter Milan
Benfica v LIVERPOOL
RANGERS v Villarreal

Second game in that list should be an interesting battle of the over-rated poseurs. Obviously Chelsea have a rematch of last seasons CL tie. Liverpool should be happy with their draw.
the real/arsenal righty is going to be interesting, while i'll make a guess if who may get out of the reamining games

Chelsea
Juventus
AC Milan
Lyon
Inter Milan
Liverpool - hopefully but benfica will be though
Villarreal - since they have been going well in la liga

"I say, Darren, that's a remarkably long left arm you've got. I do hope that affliction isn't connected to the one which involves your having two left feet."

Take off the oranje-tinted glasses, please...Lyon had played 24 games this season without a loss before going down to Lille yesterday. Meanwhile, PSV have lost a significant portion of the side that qualified for the semi-finals in 2005, and, crucially, they made it through to the second round with a goal difference of 4-6.

Lyon are an awesome side. Wouldn't be surprised if they won it. They're not among the favourites, but how often do the favourites win the CL?
