Hopefully - and the better bit in terms of the English fans is that I don't think tickets for that game were as regulated as they will be in International finals matches.

One more thing though, could I justify supporting Arsenal or Man Utd now since I have seen both of them play live at their home grounds and cheered when a goal was scored (I wasn't going to risk not cheering and besides I hold no support to either team)? Not that I would, I was just wondering though...
No!

Did you go out in Manchester or was it straight back on the train?

And then on Sky the 50 greatest goals scored by Man Utd and 50 greatest goals scored against them - now I can see why a lot of people in your neck of the woods hate them.
Yeah but I'll bet every single Liverpool supporting scouser (and a fair few others) all watched the 50 against United though. I watched the scored by United one - was quite appalled by the selection - Rooney v Newcastle at 6?! Worthy winner though (Giggs v Arsenal '99, loved the narrator's (forget who now) bit about calling Arsenal 'the ****').

Even though most of them play in Europe (Argentina I mean), so it is isn't that far for them to play in England, unless this was meant to be a neutral terrority.
I heard Argentina wanted match practice in European conditions, because the WC will be held in Germany.

Watching the FA Cup first round replay between Weymouth and Nothingham Florists. 0-0 at half time, Weymouth have hit the post and basically played every bit as well as their former Two Time European Cup Winning opponents.

It almost looks as though the Scumbuckets are playing for penalties.

word, but the thing is now Carrick has to really do the buisness in the premiership between now and the WC, to prove to Sven that he's should be their.
thats a given, the same goes for any other player in the squad though.

We walked back straight to the hotel (ok we cheated and took a taxi back on the last quarter of the journey), I went to the bar in our hotel and there just happened to be a whole bunch of Irishmen, had a few drinks, your pints knocked me for six a little bit , and the next day we went back to London.

Although we were tempted to go along the turn off and travel to Scouse land. Although I have no idea how far it is and if we walked it would have taken a few hours.

Although I found sercurity not that great considering what happened in July on the tube in London, if a terrorist wanted to it would be that hard to committ a terrorist act, or even sneak a weapon of some sort in, although I guess it didn't look obvious. The only thing they checked was your bag.

Have Chasetown played their replay against Oldham yet?

I watched the first one but I fell asleep half way through it (it had been a long and stressfull day and I was still getting used to the time zones).

Oh Terence, how I love thee. 2-0.

We're absolutely carving Wigan apart just now. It's just like watching, well, Arsenal. :D
