*Official* English Domestic Season Thread 2010

Durham in all sorts at lunch. 78/8 with Ntini and Khan taking bags each, must been a green deckm by the looks of it so it will be interesting to see Harmison and Plunkett bowl. The Durham side looks really depleted at the moment it has to be said, with the likes of Breese in the FC team.

Adam Lyth having a hell of a good start to the year, future England prospect?
He could be,too soon yet though. If he carried on like this for the rest of the season and the start of next then i'd say yes.As it is he has only played 27 matches so far and only gained a regular place this season so it would be too early.A Lions place later in the summer is a possibility though.

Take James Taylor of Leicestershire, last season he was like Lyth is this but he averages 18 this season and you wouldn't consider him as a future test player at the moment.

Rose Bowl seems to be as flat as last year, well that and we do not really have a fit bowling attack.

Kegga in the wickets again, but if your spinners bowling so many overs before lunch on the first day and the opposition has Danish Kaneria as pretty much its main threat, bowling first might appear to have been a mistake

Absolute disgrace of a performance from Durham. Get bowled by a ****ing ****house scattergun donkey and a guy who was past it a couple of seasons ago. Then Harmison starts off with 4-0-41-0. They should be paying people to go and watch that complete ****.

In a less of a ****ing joke performance Derbyshire have got the extras up to 70 out of 197-6 off 52.4 overs - consisting of (b 5, lb 18, w 11, nb 36)

Yorkshire slowing down again as usual, from 115/0 at lunch they have scored at less than 3 an over since despite not losing a wicket. Still in a very good position though but i dont think we will see any risky declarations this time.

Sayers gone, not sure if that is good or bad really.
Good,we might up the tempo now.A bit like Clarke in the 20/20,is getting him such a good idea.

Rudolph out straight away, collapse is on.215-3.

Durham fighting back against Kent 146-5.Kent are making the same mistake Hampshire have with Ervine by keeping their form bat Stevens down at 6.Once more he has to manipulate the tail if he gets going.

God what is the point in Herath, has taken 8 wickets @46 so far this year, do not believe for one second that Danny Briggs could not be doing a better job.

This pitch better be as flat as the one against Somerset was.
