I don't, actually - haven't checked the fix-list, so I don't know whether England are playing Australia in a ODI, Australia are playing a tour-game against Hants, or an England-XI are playing a Hants XI in a joke-game.

Perhaps TH meant international-playing.
That and "World-class" are two phrases often confused.

England will be playing Australia in about 10 ODI's this summer.

Australia will probley be playing Hants they seem to play pretty much every county on an Ashes tour.

And England will be playing a warm up OD (50 Overs) game against Hampshire at the Rose Bowl, Rich will be there  - As for an earlier comment Warne will be captaining Hampshire and Iam pretty sure KP will turn out for Hampshire, therefore allowing England to pick another person to view before the main games.

County Championship winners Kent
Hehe not sure what to say here! - For the past 3 years that Chris has done these threads Kent have been relagated on all comps and we have gone out and performed pretty consistantly in the top 3 of both in that time.

This season Kent have the worst squad in years and years and he tips us as Champs! - All I can say is I wish I had your confidence, hey you never know we are about to sign our 2nd overseas player and as long as it's say Lara we'll be fine

Surrey have (somewhat inexplicably) replaced the man who has been their adopted son and a proven international-class bowler with someone who's never looked anything other than mediocre by international standards.
Didn't he play for Essex in 2003, not 2004, too? I could have sworn it was Sussex in 2004...
Who is the player you're talking about that Surrey have signed this year?

Unless I've also missed the sarcasm, Marc missed the sarcasm.
I wasn't sure if it was sarcastic or not.

If it had been Worcestershire who signed him then the poster who commented would've been 100% serious in saying it. ;)

Kent will win it as they where second last year
We were 2nd last year when we had a team, we have lost some quality players and replaced them with nothing more than average players.

We signed Andrew Hall as an overseas player who yourself would have first hand experianc eof how poorly he played last season and from the England v SA series he didn't appear to get much better.

Full strenght Kent team at the momment would look somthing like.

Key/Fulton/Walker/Stevens/Carberry/Hall/O'Brian/Cook/Saggers + 2 bowlers from about12 that we have now

id love to see afridi back in england but dont think anyone wants him here
I don't know, what with the 20/20 cricket and vast amounts of OD cricket played across all comps, a team could see him as a short term fix while the main player is away, just like we used him as at Kent last season.

And he would probley be near the top of a few lists after a good summer in Australia.
