And tbf all I've had is a quick glance at the scorecard. It looks a bit like from a quick glance. But most of the dismissals have had nothing to do with the conditions.
btw do we know why Bell isn't playing today?

Broken toe from the ODIs, also has some sickness I can't remember off the top of my head. And tbf all I've had is a quick glance at the scorecard.

Hope you made it back in time the start of your innings165 all out.
Time to walk the dogs.
They may end up regretting not betting out their 50 overs. Another dozen or so runs could be vital.Should be a good finish to this. Come on Warwickshire.
Woakes had a real bad day but you could easily single out most of the bowlers (and most people have) from the india series as just as aveage and not international standard. Gurney? Jordan? Stokes? I'm no great fan of Woakes for ODI cricket but his selection isn't bad given the alternatives for his spot. He likely won't make it as an ODI cricketer but I can't see any bowlers outside the squad who were fit who I can say '**** I wish he was in the squad'.Jeez, why wouldn't you have a second slip? Chopra can't seriously think he'll win by restricting Durham runs.
Despite the edge, Woakes has showed today why he shouldn't be within a mile of an England limited overs squad.
Nah as an ODI player he's never shown owt, I'd rather have many that have done better in the form. Or just potential, nothing has said he does it in this form.Woakes had a real bad day but you could easily single out most of the bowlers (and most people have) from the india series as just as aveage and not international standard. What and Gurney who is poor in the field and terrible with the bat + plus doesn't swing the ball when he opens the bowling is such a wonder prospect or current player.Nah as an ODI player he's never shown owt, I'd rather have many that have done better in the form. Nah, all this is pretty poor TBH, Maybe all those players would be worse than Woakes, but I'm reasonably sure none of them averages over 35 with the ball in list A. It's not a form he's remotley good at. It doesn't help him play it, for him England or his county. What and Gurney who is poor in the field and terrible with the bat + plus doesn't swing the ball when he opens the bowling is such a wonder prospect or current player.
Or Jordan who regularly bowls 5+ wides a game
or Stokes who just isn't quite as bad as gurney or jordan.
Or pick from outside. Rushworth 15 wickets in this tourny. Or David Payne as the highest english fast bowling wickettaker in the tourney. Or Mark Wood from Durham who managed 0 games on the way to the final with Durham.Or back to Bresnan.
I'm no fan of Woakes but singling him out as the weak point strikes me as odd. The bowling attack as a whole is poor. It lacks variation, pace, and even accuracy. Woakes isn't the problem; the quality of domestic english cricket is
I don't much, so lets pick others. Again I like how Woakes has made himself a better bowler and batsman over the last year or so, but it's not going to help him or England being picked in a form he's clearly not suited for.Well rushworth averages 20.54 in lo cricket. Or will gidman who averages more with bat and less with ball than woakes. How'd you feel about those guys going to aus for the WC?
