I'm hoping that as a result of Gale's outburst Prince will feel he has to stay another year or two rather than retire, in which case Gale will have done the Red Rose a great service

Middlesex are 200 odd for 2 on the last day, I think its safe to say you'll be facing bowling attacks that are much more to the speed of your batsmen.

They're about to shake hands at the Aegeas Bowl it seems. Looked like a Kent win when the 9th wicket fell though.

Eight down at Trent Bridge, with a possible 13 overs left ... I assume prize money is riding on this one.

Splendid win for good old Sussex by the sea, thanks to Ulysses' 8th FC century of the season and a good performance with the ball.

2nd place now a possibility I think, and failing that 3rd is very much on the cards.

Can't believe how quickly this season's gone! Seems like 2 weeks ago Durham were in Abu Dhabi playing against the MCC, Saturday it's the limited overs final!

I had no idea he'd made so many - that's an awesome performance. He seems to be playing the best cricket of his career now - did the England call come too soon?

Leading run-scorers in f-c cricket with a match to go (for most) - Vince's three tons from 26 innings seems rather a let-down after his prolific start.

Quite like old times with our domestic oneday final being played even later in September than in yesteryear. Win the toss, bowl first and any seamers worth their salt will take advantages of the early morning conditions to pretty much win the match by lunch time. Didn't they play these matches in late August for a while to even things up between bat and ball in the first innings?.

It looks a bit like from a quick glance. But most of the dismissals have had nothing to do with the conditions.
